re-design your space. Whether it's just some do-it-yourself advice to a complete room design; I am there to help! Many people get "stuck"
when it comes to planning and picking out room colors, furniture and accessories. Fabric
choices for window treatments are overwhelming. Prices are all over the board. Setting a budget for yourself is a good first
step. Many people don't want to tell a designer what their budget is. A designer can't help you stay within your comfort
zone without knowing this. What is "reasonable" for one person, may be out of reach for another. What's your
lifestyle? Do you have kids or pets? Do you entertain a lot? Is the TV the focal point in this room? All of these questions
and more help designers with choosing items that will work for you. ShoeString Design is dedicated to getting to know the
individual client, and finding the perfect balance for you.

Remodeling?

Decisions, decisions, decisions.... What color tile? What kind of floor? Granite or laminate counters? Or is there something
out there that I don't know about? Lighting, fixtures, space planning. Do you know what a work triangle is? Do you need one? (Larger kitchens are now in need of "stations"
instead of work triangles) Energy Star appliances? Green design, is it for me? And what is low-voc paint?
Shoestring Design will help create a concept using floor plans
and renderings so you can visualize what it will look like. Services may include just the initial concept, or taking the entire
project through from start to finish. I work closely with the contractor to bring the dream to reality.
